Studying abroad in English speaking countries requires applicants to pass the IELTS (International English Language Testing System) test conducted globally by Cambridge University through the British Council. It consists of 4 modules - Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking, lasting for 2 hours and 44 minutes. Scores are awarded in the form of bands from 1 to 9.
